Why mentoring?
When top companies are looking for people, they "hunt" for the "cream" of the labor market, the so-called top performers. These are the people who managed to get the most out of their experience in a short period of time, and already at the start of their career often outperform the average employees.
These are the people who get the most interesting job offers, enjoy their work and earn the highest salaries.
Sometimes we are very lucky and we find ourselves in top-performing companies, we have colleagues who can effectively mentor and pull us up, we have enough time to reflect and analyze mistakes, we collaborate a lot with other colleagues and have the opportunity to constantly learn, not just complete tasks.
But in most situations this is not the case, and then we gain experience, but do not take the maximum out of it, do not see the career development opportunities that are often in front of our faces.
How I can help you
Whatever stage you are at in your career, whether you are at the very beginning or already have a lot of experience behind you, I can help you get the most out of your experience, share my own, and point out opportunities that you may not have seen yet.
How will mentoring work?
First, we will set an objective. For example, I want to get a job as a scrum master. Or I want my team to rate my work X in the quarterly survey. I want to make a significant change in my company's processes. Let's answer the standard question - how will I know that the objective is achieved - define the metrics of success.
Then we will define intermediate goals. The closer in time, the more precise.
Further, as a mentor, I will support you on this path. If necessary, I will actively help (this is the difference from a coach). For example, I will correct your resume, do a mock interview, give feedback on your facilitation or coaching, help you analyze your teamwork strategy, etc. When I see that you can solve the issue yourself, I will offer coaching. I will also share my experience and observations so that you can think how you can use this experience if it is relevant?
