Я почав свою кар’єру в ІТ у 2012 році, перейшовши з рекрутингу технічних спеціалістів на розробку вимог. До цього закінчив університет за спеціальністю «Маркетинг». Кілька років працював у сфері ІТ-продажів та маркетингових досліджень в українській аутсорсинговій компанії Miratech. Цей досвід допоміг мені в кар’єрі, попри нестачу технічних навичок/навичок програмування.

З 2012 по 2015 рік я працював в ELEKS переважно в eLearning. У 2016 році приєднався до SoftServe, щоб працювати над тим, що почалося як вдосконалення UI для постачальника софту з громадської безпеки — Spillman Technologies, який купили Motorola Solutions. SoftServe релокейтнув мене до Юти, там я працював з квітня 2017 року до грудня 2021 року. Протягом цього часу я працював як Product Owner і Product manager над функціями, які пізніше були впроваджені у сотню диспетчерських центрів 911 у США.

У січні 2022 року я приєднався до Motorola Solutions у Кракові, де зараз проживаю з дружиною.

Крім process modeling, визначення скопу та написання вимог, я проводив юзер-рисьорчі шляхом інтерв’ю та спостережень на місці, тестування юзабіліті для впроваджених продуктів та оцінки концепції дизайну.

Сьогодні я відповідаю за визначення road map всього продукту (12-24 місяці).

Working with a team of engineers, designers and other Product Managers I enhanced Motorola’s Command Central CAD with a number of capabilities necessary for a public release including state query, placing units on and off duty and address alerts. I also recruited a number of public safety agencies to conduct remote usability testing of product under development to acquire early
feedback. During this time together with UX I also developed a template now used for capturing user scenarios, requirements and other valuable information by other Command Central CAD product managers.

I was helping to launch a startup and develop software for schools practicing Montessori education approach. Working together with the founder and Project Manager, I helped shape the vision of the product as well as the scope of MVP. I have also assembled a development team that built the initial version of the product.
Other activities included:
- Working with UX designer to put together user flows that served as input to prototypes (using CJM / customer journey map and Use cases)
- Customer development to recruit Montessori teachers to learn more about domain problems and test our ideas (Linkedin, Surveys using typeform, Facebook groups)
- Conducting user testing together with UX designer to validate our assumptions about desired functionality and design
- Setup requirements development and documentation processes for ongoing development efforts (trello, asana, google drive)
- Finding a pilot site to test developed software in action (Montessori school in Utah)
This was one of the most exciting and interesting projects I have ever been involved into.
